My 21 inch 2 cycle snow blower just started running EXTREMELY rough. There is a little oil residue coming out of the exhaust pipe. I use one gallon of gas to 4 oz. of oil. It has been running fine for the last 5 years. What could the problem be?

(I repaired the other problem by installing a new belt)

I don't see a 'small gas engine' forum but you could try posting your question in Bob's "Miscellaneous" forum at the following link. There have been other gas snow-blower related questions posted there.
