I have a Kenmore washer - model 110, Ultra Fabric Care 80 Series, serial # 92389200. It will run through the wash and rinse cycle, but will not spin. I think last time this happened there was just a small part missing from the top of the washer? I might have that mixed up with another repair though.

Any help would be appreciated so I can avoid the $60 repair visit, let alone the part cost.

Thanks!

I tried to run just a spin cycle to see if it would work and it just makes the same noise as normal, sounds like it's working, but doesn't spin. I'll check out those links.

**And yes, the water has drained**

That -should- mean the lid switch is working.
