I am sorry to hear about your problem. It really is ridiculous. At first I thought maybe the whole oven just wasn't installed properly and contributed to the lack of proper closure but that just isn't the case.

Both the hinges (part # 74008014) and hinge receptacles/receivers (part # 74008015) are still listed as available for oven model JJW9530AAB and serial # 10583006WF (and pretty inexpensive too!) so I don't know what your technician's problem is gpnkn101.

Part number I need is 71002967 which is the over door liner if I remember correctly. I guess if I could buy the kit to fix the problem I would. Wouldn't it be just like them to only sell the part in kit form to make more money.

Whomever is doing the service will have to determine the cause of whatever problem you're having and what is needed to correct it. It can't be done from afar unfortunately.

71002967 is the correct part number for the inner door panel of that model. It does look to have been discontinued but have no idea if it is required to correct whatever problem you're experiencing with your oven anyway.

None of the kits mentioned in this message thread apply to your model. If there's a problem with the door hinges or hinge receivers maybe they just need to be replaced?
