Kenmore Elec Range model 911.93478790. When I turn oven on to preheat the oven elements will come on.About 1-2 min later the oven elements will go off and the self clean light will start blinking. There are no error codes. The range top works fine.1-2 min later the oven elements will come back on for 1-2 min then back to blinking self clean light.Trying to do this without a $50.00 service call charge.

Can you help?

I can find no listing for such a model number. Can you double check it?

I'm afraid I have never heard of such a complain before. Some investigation will likely be necessary to determine the cause.

Sounds like the control might think the temperature is high enough to be in a cleaning mode (ie. overheating) and shuts the oven down as a safety precaution? In such a case a defective oven sensor or electronic control might be responsible.
