Probably a good idea to remove the access panal ( there are several different Maytags ) and have a peek with a flash light to see if you can ID where the water/drip is comming from.

Leaking down the middle ( where the transmission enters the washer basket ), leaking drain pump, throwing the water up and over the top of the wash basket are common leaking trouble area's.
