The door of my dishwasher was open unknown to me when I turned and tripped over it, it leaks only sometimes. Note: The lid noe has dropped closer to the floor. Can't see anything broken??? Please advise.

Probably bent the hinges....that will allow the door to open further than the normal 90ยบ's.
