** I own a kenmore side by side Refridg. **

Kenmore has numerous different SxS refrigerators on the market. Please post its complete model number so we can look up which one you're dealing with.

You can find tips for locating the model and serial number tag on your appliances in the "Repair Parts' section of my web site linked below.

** it has been freezing too much **

You mean the freezer is too cold??

** it is all cloged from freezing. **

Where exactly is it clogged? Is it clogged with clear "ice" or white, snow-like "frost"?

I can find no listing for such a model number and it looks like it's also missing the 3-digit prefix which tells whom manufactured it for Sears. Can you double check it?

I was asking WHAT is clogged? The ice chute??

If frost is developing on surfaces on the freezer, it is likely caused by warm air leaking into the cabinet. If whatever is clogged up in the ice dispenser chute in the door, I would say there is a very good chance that is where the air leakage is.

Thanks for your patience. The model number is: 106 58587891. The tray that leads to the ice dispenser is cloged. As the ice acumilates they stick together frozen so that the cubes cannot pass through to the dispenser.

I hope I am able to explain it a little better this time.

Thanks.

That's better.

** The tray that leads to the ice dispenser is clogged. **

The hole through the door? That is often referred to as the ice 'chute'.

There is a 'flapper' door in the dispenser mechanism to keep the warm air out of the freezer compartment when not dispensing ice. If it was not closing tightly, frost would develop on surfaces inside the freezer and likely in the chute itself.

Someone will likely need to investigate that flapper door to see exactly what is happening with it.
