**the water dispenser works, the ice falls when the icemaker is activated, but the door flap doesn't open and let the ice fall through**

The -icemaker- just makes the cubes. The dispensor bins pulls the cubes forward to the through the door dispensor.

**I have to manually flip open the flap or push the ice down from inside. Can someone tell me what's wrong?**

Nope, can't see your refrigerator from here...some possible trouble makers:

- bad solenoid

- linkage broken for the solenoid

- flapper door is cracked and broken

- no power to the door solenoid

- frozen up inside the freezer door preventing the dispensor flapper door from opening
