I'm planning to install a kenmore microhood to replace my stove fan. What is the ideal or minimum space between the top of the stove and the bottom of the microwave? The distance between the bottom of my cupboard and the top of the stove is about 32 inches. The height of the microwave is 16 inches, which will leave about 16 inches between the top of the stove and the bottom of the microwave. Any comments?

Hi,
Minimum is normally 30" between the cooking surface and the bottom of the cabinet above. You should be fine since yours has 32".
