Update now the washer will not spin and rinse after the regular cycle.

When the washer is finished the tub is full of water.

On the selection knob when it get to spin it goes right thru the spin cycle with a small clicking sound. Sometimes if a play with the knob I can get the spin cycle to engage and clothes come damp.

The earliest repair date I can get is next friday.

Is there anything we can do fix it ourselves.

I do the washer spins in other cycles just not the last spin cycle.
