Thanks for the wonderful website. I have kenmore for a long time and it never gave me a problem. Now suddenly it stopped cooling. THere is some problem with the times everytime i have to put the back of the spoon to spin something inside so it can start cooling, and no one in Pakistan knows about it. it side by side the model number is 106.8562760
Serial Number is S63037832
Type 22ASR86

Sounds like you are manually advancing the defrost timer?!?!

Sounds like you are manually advancing the defrost timer?!?!

Maybe you're referring the fan motor (see the following link) and having to start it turning manually???

If the defrost timer doesn't advance on its own, it likely needs to be replaced. Jeff linked to the correct one for your refrigerator model.
