Hello,I have a XL44 Self CLeaning Gas Range,MOdel#JGBP28WEA4WW,Serial#ZD223607P.The top burners work fine, When I put on self cleaning, the oven locks and begins to clean,but dies out,oven unlocks.The oven itself is not working at all.What can I do to fix this myself if possible?

Your range's oven used a hot surface (glow ignitor) ignition system. Is the oven ignitor glowing when the oven is turned on?

Than someone will have to check the components mentioned at the previously supplied 'Understanding Gas Oven Ignition Systems' link, for continuity. NO continuity = defective part.

If those tested Ok moving on to testing the control system and the wiring would usually be next in an effort to narrow down the cause.
