Looks like I have same hinge problem. Doors won't close all the way. Bottom door worse. Is there a specific hinge repair/replacement kit available. Link for ordering would also be helpful

- Jenn Air oven door not closing. JJW9827DDP
The hinge and receiver kit for 27" model JJW9827DDP is # 12002490 and can be ordered at the following link.

No actual picture of that kit appears to be available at the site yet (not as popular of kit?) but should include 2-hinges and 2-hinge receptacles and installation instructions (no door panel). If both doors are affected 2 kits will be required, one for each door.

Thanks Dano-I'll order and give it a shot. Looks like I have to slide unit out from cabinet and install hinge receptacles from the side of the oven. Is this correct?

At least a little bit, yes. It shouldn't require removing the whole oven though which can be a real headache if you don't have a second person to help.
Let us know how you make out.

Received the hinges and receptacles. Problem sovled. Doors work perfectly. Also have one other problem. Lower oven very noisy when heating up in use. Noise seems to be from top part of oven. Any recommendations?

Glad to hear it.

What kind of "noise"???
** Noise seems to be from top part of oven. **
Top of the lower oven or do you mean the control console area??

Seems to be in area between upper and lower oven that contains the door lock and cooling fan for the lower oven. It seems to be like a rattling noise when fan operates. Doesn't seem like the fan itself is noisy but that something is vibrating.

I think the only way to determine what is causing it will be to actually look into it. There could be a problem with the motor, the fan bearings or even just dust/grease, etc. on the blade throwing it a bit off balance.

BTW. The fan looks to only be sold as a complete assembly. If any part of it is the cause the whole thing would likely need to be replaced to correct the condition.
