HELP! I have a kenmore that has been making a rattle noise and sometimes it also does a POPPING sound. I was told it could be several things, so I moved the refrigerator to clean the coils under it and it has'nt made 1 single noise since then. I am glad but still concerned. I was thinking it could have been not level. WHAT DO YOU THINK?.. Also What kind of brush can I use to clean the coils next time? I had a tough time today cleaning , cuz I used a toothbrush. It was a pain. Theres got to be a better and easier way.

** kenmore [fridge] has been making a rattle noise and sometimes it also does a POPPING sound. **

See the following link for some possibilities:

- My refrigerator is making strange sounds. What is wrong with it?

I HIGHLY doubt being un-level would be the cause of any odd sounds. There might be a chance of a misaligned drain pan being vibrated during operation.

** What kind of brush can I use to clean the coils next time? **

There are stiff brushes designed for cleaning refrigerator condensers (see the following link).

- Condenser Brush
