The round soap dispenser does not open during wash cycle. This is similar to a previous post that had the solution of a broken spring attached to the leaver on the timer cam.
I do not believe that the spring is the problem because if I manually turn the cycle/timer knob the dispenser door works correctly. However, I have not opened the front panel to look inside. I want to make sure the diagrams provided for the GSD650L-01 were similar to my model.

They're probably similar. It should be easy to tell by actually looking.

Than I don't know what would be stopping it unless the timer wasn't advancing on its own to activate it. Maybe something was just hampering its movement the time it failed?
