** my portable dishwasher **

I'm afraid that is not enough information to identify the appliance in question. What is needed is its brand name and exact model number. If you post that we can look it up to see what appliance design you're dealing with.

You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances at the following link:

** dishwasher leaking about 2 out of every 8 times. I can not figure this out **

A start will likely be trying to pinpoint exactly where on the machine the water is originating from. It could be from out the door, from the pump parts beneath, from one or the other side of the tub, from the hoses beneath, etc.

If you post that information we may be able to suggest a course of action.

BTW. Just improper loading of the dishwasher could cause jets of water to be directed directly at the door, forcing a leak there. Check the owner's manual for proper loading instructions.

Well I went to unload washer today and it did not spin out all the way. Here is the model and serial #'s

Model #DWC7602AAE

Serial # 329522065SH

Also I guess I need to know how to take apart so I can unhook drain. Thanks for getting back to me so fast.

** Model DWC7602AAE **

So that is one of Maytag's brands?

** today it did not [drain] out all the way. **

That could be caused by a blockage in the drain hose or house plumbing or a problem in the pump.

** I guess I need to know how to take apart so I can unhook drain. **

The lower access panel is usually held on by a couple of screws at its base. The hoses and pump are under there although the pump itself is usually serviced from inside the machine.

If interested you can find a repair manual for that design of Maytag built dishwasher at the following link:
