I am replacing my GE wall oven which is 17 years old. Does anyone know how to measure for a new one? Do you use the inside cabinet? Or do you use the entire outside cabinet. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

The most critical measurement is the oven 'cutout' size (see the link below). Getting the wrong size there could require cabinetry work to be done for replacement.

Of course, the outer overall width of the appliance will help you to narrow down the models you'll need to check the installation instructions of for cutout size.
