We purchased a F & P dryer October 2008 and in less than a year and a half we have had to have a repairman come 3 times. We've felt like we have been given the run-a-round and that we have wasted $850.00+. It takes forever to dry a load of clothes. Even on timed dry things are still wet! This has been a big dissapointment for them to not stand behind their product. Please don't waste your money!

Poor drying (as opposed to not heating) is most often caused by inadequate venting (see the following link).

- How long can my dryer vent be?

To totally rule it out as a cause, the venting can sometimes be totally disconnected for a load or two to see if drying improves. If it does, you can be certain the venting is (at least part of) the problem.
