4 yr old dryer has worked great until today. Cooling light comes on when start button is pressed, regardless of other settings. Help!!!

I am not familiar with the workings of LG dryers but maybe the answer to these questions will help others suggest a cause?
Will the dryer run?
Does the light only come on when the start button is pressed or continually while the dryer is running?
Is the dryer heating?
