GE Profile gas oven/range model number PGS908SEM1SS that is 2 years old. The broil and bake stopped working as in no heat the range still works great. I set the oven to 350 hit start and hear a click. But ignitor does not glow and oven does not heat up. The temperature stays at 100. I have a multimeter and checked the ignitor and it showed continuity(the multimeter goes all the way to the right). I then tested the gas valve by unplugging the wires to it and I get continuity. I don't know how to get to the thermostat to check that. Any help you can give would be great.

Thanks

** But ignitor does not glow and oven does not heat up. The temperature stays at 100. **

If the ignitor is not glowing nor the oven burner working, the oven should remain at room temperature.

Than that circuit may not be getting power from the control system.

Your range uses an electronic control to maintain temperature not a thermostat. It might however contain one or more safety thermostats that could possibly stop oven operation if open (ie. defective). Someone should check the range's wring diagram for that possibility and then check them for continuity if present.

I'm afraid I can not tell you how to access the electronic control on your model nor how to go about checking it. Sorry.
