We have a Bosch model SHX45M06UC dishwasher. After washing, it leaves dirt particles on some glasses and dishes. We had our installer come back to take a look at it and he said he had made an error installing and that the drain pipe had to be higher than a certain intake on the dishwasher to prevent backflow of dirty water. He adjusted the installation and said that should fix it, but it hasn't. Does anybody have any ideas about what we should do?

That can be caused by too little water in the machine (after filling the water level in the tub should be up to just below the heating element), the dishwasher not draining properly, wash water not hot enough to dissolve the detergent properly or 'stale' (aka old) detergent not dissolving properly leaving a grit like substance behind.
The first two possibilities could be caused by improper installation. If the installer couldn't do the installation right the first time (it should have come with instructions), he might not have done it right the second time either. You could call him back again or call for warranty service to check the dishwasher out for you.
I will warn you that if you call for warranty service and the problem is NOT in the dishwasher itself (like due to faulty installation) you may be billed for the service. The warranty on the product only covers defects in the product itself.
