ahh it it solid wood or what? if solid only 3 things! ouch! one being sand and sand and sand... didn't i mention sand? 2nd? drill out the area and replace ith a plug... can be a great fix depending on the pattern of the wood. 3rd? fill up the hole and paint it!...LOL.
