On many new home floor plans I see a fireplace/media wall. In my family room I have a 6 foot wide closet that is 2 feet deep. Could that be converted to a gas fireplace and media center? The closet is on an outside wall. The only other thing along that wall is a glass door that leads to the deck. The room is chilly in the winter so we don't us it. The closet isn't used for much either so this seems like a nice project. If it is possible, where do I start?
