Unfortunatley, state and city code requirements usually dictate that you present them with all scaled front, rear and side elevations, a plat and plot plan, a floor plan, framing plan, door and window schedule, rafter and roof plan, wall and foundation cross sections, electrical and plumbing plans and much more.

If you cannot provide a professional quality plan package yourself, you must normally hire an architect or design draftsman who can do the 'blueprints' for you.
