Wood Chimney Surrounds

I have installed a wood-burning fireplace and the 12in metal chimney is about 5 ft tall. I wood like to put a wood surround around it but I can't find design ideas anywhere. Can anybody help me?

No design needed, any competant carpenter can build a chase for a metal chimnney

Not sure you live in Oklahoma wher winds get above 40mph quite often. I do appreate you imput.

I did live in Lubbock, Tex - average # of tornados in a year is 17 Does that qualify?

The chase gets nailsed down, just like the rest of the house, and flashed just like any chimney
