i live in alaska where it has been snowing heavily for the past ten days.we have a metal roof ,and the snow has been shedding off of it right on to the deck on top of what has been falling anyway so it is pretty deep,and i am worried about damage to the deck (which was built the summer before last.)-now i know what your thinking "why not just shovel it off"-well between the slight thawing and freezing it is a rock solid mass of snow and ice.nearly impossible to deal with. any answeres much apreciated -thanks in advance
