Hi,

Me and my fiance are first-time house buyers. There is a new neighborhood being constructed and the builder has about 10 models to choose from. We have chosen the model we like and the lot. We thought all would go well until the builder told us that the house we chose resembles the house our next door neighbor chose too much, even though the next door neighbor has a different model. Anyways, the builder told us the only way that we can put our house on that lot is to build the house with an 'Elevated Front'. He didn't have a chance right then to explain what an elevated front was and I we will be talking with him later this week. What I am asking is that anyone who knows what an elevated front is, please let me know. I am in suspense and me and my fiance both really love this house and are dead set on this particular lot. I would also like to know if an elevated front would add to the price of the house?

Thanks,
Wendigt
