We recently complete a large (14' x 14') dormer on the second story with a large picture window and 2 casement windows on either side of the picture window. Birds are flying into the glass - several each day - and dying. What can I do to alleviate or minimize this? The window from the outside shows the reflection of a tree and mountain landscape.

I've seen a black cutout of a hawk's image (or shadow) used on windows. Birds won't fly into that.
