hi,

My wife and I have recently moved into an old stone farm house with wooden beams and sub flooring. There is a lot of wood boring beetle damage (pin head sized holes) on almost all of the 'original' wood and a little of the wood that was used in the 1st renovation 10 years ago. I am taking steps to treat the wood where there are/ have been insects and protect untouched wood. I have heard that insects will not eat any wood products made with glue (plywood/ particle board...)is this true? Currently I am using brush on products. Are there any additional steps which I can take (not too toxic)? Also, how can I tell if there is structural damage?

Thanks for any advice.
