Can any one help me with removing birds/nest from the sofet of my roof.

There's a piece of vinyl sofet missing and I have purchased a new one to fix the issue and relize that there's a large nest/birds in there.

It's pretty high of the ground and I just don't want to get a ladder and find out that the nest is loaded with baby birds and the nest is quite large. If that's the case, how should I dispose the nest and birds? Should I use a hose or something?
