I am trying to find out what is eating our Hostas. There is a bunch of little holes on all of the leaves. Any idea what is doing this and what I can do to prevent it?

- holes in the hosta leaves
This is likely caused by either slugs or earwigs. I figure it is just par for the course with hostas as they love the same damp conditions as the pests that plague them.
You can hand-pick slugs, or use a beer-bait trap (do a google search for quick answers). Earwigs secumb to Safer's Soap from your garden center.
Good luck! Julia.
