Wow, glad I found you guys,

I have a 22 year old house, lived here 7 years. Always making sure house is kept up. Saw a mouse for the first time a month ago, caught 1 in a glue trap. About 2 weeks ago I heard "something" behind a wood cabinet that is in drywall. A dead smell started coming through about 1 week ago, unable to demo cabinet, tried Odor Absorbing products, etc.

How long does it take for something to finally stop smelling, I have read about 2 weeks?

Obviously - the best thing is to tear apart a finished basement, of course, also need to find root cause of how it got in.

Thanks
