My home is built on a slab. On humid days my garage floor "sweats". Is there anything I can put on the cement to block mosture from comming through ?

If your garage floor sweats when it is humid you must have the door closed for a long period of time and then open it and leave it open. Does this happen if you leave the door closed? It seems to me if you keep the garage the same or close to the same temp and humidity as outside you might not have this problem. I wonder if opening a window or leaving a door open would help. (If this is acceptable)

I don't know if painting the floor would help or not. Maybe someone else will answer that. What do you use this garage for. Parking in I assume.

Devildog has it correct.

In very warm, very humid conditions, temperature changes as few as 2-3 degrees can cause water to condense on such a 'colder' surface.

The way to correct the problem though is to either keep the humid air out altogether by sealing the garge completely, or warming the garage floor to above the dew point for the air. Keeping the door open so the slab can be heated by the sun is one method....
