I am thinking of adding an addition on to mobile home, there is a concrete slab for a porch already there, can it tie into the slab im going to pour and also,i plan on building more later as time and $$ permit, can you do footers section by section?add my first section, then have mobile home removed, build second half,or just build the mobile into the house, can you set the mobile home frame right into the concrete to help hold down.

Any help will be appreciated, Chuck

PS: the location is cen florida

You can not use the porch slab as a part of a footer or foundation for a structure unless it has been evaluated and approved by a structural engineer and 99% of the time it will not pass.

You can install footers and foundations one section at a time. Proper and approved methods for tying the sections together should be approved by the local building inspections department and provided for in advance.

By removing the mobile home as you add on you will increase the property and appreciation value.

You can use the concrete floor and tie in the new area but you might want to make sure it does not have a slope to it (for water run off).
