I want to be able to dim the lights on my ceiling fan that doesn't have any wall switch, only a pull chain. I think a simpler and cheaper way than putting in house wiring to a wall switch is to put dimming circuitry in the fan housing with a multiple selection pull chain switch. I would like to have a off/full/dim/moredim selection or at least off/full/dim. Can someone advise where I can buy the dimming circuitry remembering it has to be small as the space within the fan housing is limited? (The multiple selection pull chain switch I have found at Lowe‘s)

Both ***** and HD have kits that are designed to give you remote control of the fan and light separately.

They have a receiver that mounts in the fan or ceiling box.

And either a small hand held remote or one that is dumny wall mount.
