I just replaced the bulbs in my ceiling fixture with fluorescent light bulbs. I noticed last night that each one would flicker, once every few minutes, taking turns. The switch is set to off though! This never happened when I used regular light bulbs. Any idea what is causing this?... I don't think the house is haunted!! ;-)

Are they controlled by a simple "mechical switch" or are they controlled by some kind of "electronic switch" such as X-10 or sence controller where you can program different combinations of lights?

Are you near a source of RF power. A tV or radio station, a ham operator? Near an airport or other radar system?

Its operated by an ordinary light switch on the wall. There's no TV, computer or other electrical device in the room and I'm not near any cell tower, airport, etc. The house has 60amp service with GFI outlets.
