Ceiling is cracking around light fixtures

Hello out there!

First time post.

Does anyone know why the ceiling(drywall)in my home is cracking around the light fixtures?

It appears that some of the paint is starting to crack too!

anyone walk across the joists in the attic above? We have cracks all over from when we replaced our roof.

No. The cracks existed prior to replacing the roof.

What size bulbs are in the fixtures? What is maximum bulb rating on the fixture? You could be overheating the area around the fixtures.
