I'm wanting to install recessed lights in an insulated ceiling and I need a continuous vapor barrier. I'm using visqueen for the most part but I'm not sure how to make it continuous at the light. This will be new construction. Any suggestions or products?

- Vapor Barrier for Recessed Lights
It's part of the can? If it isn't you may want to check and see if you have the right type.
In the old days we had to may ply boxes to keep the manufacurers correct distance from the can so it wouldn't overheat and then use polyisosianurate or some other styro product around the outside of that for insualtion & vapour.. but that was 20 years ago.
