I would like to purchase a brad nailer for my boyfriend for XMAS. I was told Bostitch and get a range from 1- 2 1/2". He has a compressor but would not be taking it with him all the time. So I guess the gas over the electric would be better. Any suggestions?

Dear M23,
I've used nailguns for years and bought one of the butane fired guns. They're great if you do not have alot of nailing to do. The cannisters are expensive to replace. They work well though. I might opt for a pneumatic gun and purchase a pancake compressor to power it. If electricity is non-existant, one can aquire a gas powered compressor.
