can anyone help me. I have a skil saw and I was sawing and set the saw down and cut the power cord. I would like to know how to replace it or fix it can you help please

I have always replaced my own cords, so if you are mechnically inclined then you shouldn't have any problems. You will probably need a 3 wire 14 gauge cord with a plug pre-attached or you should buy one, also once you've removed the old cord from inside the saw you should notice that there are terminals fixed on the ends of each wire. If this sounds to difficult you can search on the internet and I found replacement cord kits for skil brand saws. You will need to type in the Skilsaw and the model of your saw to come up with a good search match. Hope this helps.
