Anyone here ever use an air-powered palm nailer?
If so, did it work well and was it easy to use?

Thinking about building a shed and thought one of these might save me a lot of hammering without needing to spend $250+ on a framing nailer.
If you've used one, please let me know your opinions of it (and what brand it was).
Thanks!

Although a Palm Nailer is a fantastic and usefull tool, it cannot and will not replace a framing nailer!! The Palm Nailer use a ratcheting action to drive in nails, which takes longer than a framing nailer....and is harder on the hand.

Thanks
I actually found a brand new Bostich framing nailer for half-price (~$130) at ***** , so I bought that and some nails that were half price also.
Might try to pick up a palm nailer for cheap on Ebay, but I got the framing nailer, so that should be a huge help in building a shed! Just if i can find a good deal on a palm nailer, I might pick one up.

Palm nailers are good for specific jobs, like sinking nails in places where you cant reach it with a nail gun or have room to swing a hammer, best example is between joists when your making an opening and installing headers using the joist hangers. Other than that they are time consuming and will kill your arms.
