Any opinions on Harbor Freights tools, spefically the air tools (compressors and nailers)?

This is one time where "you get what you pay for" applies. Bought a clip-head nailer. First one lasted 3 days, 2d one made it a week. Gave up on it. I have about 12 other nailers and staplers (other brands) and no problem. Get a good gurantee and be ready to have them replaced. Compressors could be another thing. If they use comparable parts, then who knows. I did get a portable compressor for jobsites from them. Same as many other brands. I figure it's a throw-away, I use it till it breaks then it goes into the dump.

I've had good luck with their hand tools, so-far-so-good with a portable compressor and rotten luck with pneumatic tools. That's what I've experienced.
