I have been looking to by a Circular saw. 7 1/4" 15 amp. I will be building a play set for the 3 year old & a 12 x 16 storage shed. I have been looking at Porter Cable ($109 @ *****), Milwaukee ($139 @ ***** & everywhere else), and Craftsman Professional ($109). Which do you think is the best. Milwaukee gets the best ratings, but is it worth the extra $30? All are Made in USA, which is important to me.

Milwaukee is undoubtably best. I have one that is fifteen years old and use it regularly. But I also have the PC and use it on a daily basis, professionally for both.

I stay well away from any ***** power tools. most are made by Ryobi or Emerson and rebranded. Friends don't let friends buy Ryobi is a common statement on our jobs.

Excellence is its own reward!

The Skil 7 1/4 inch worm drive saw is also an excellent choice, it will last for years, but it is more expensive. I've had mine for 30+ years.
