Are there any Drills available out there that can operate both as a cordless drill and a corded drill? Having this option on a single unit would be ideal, can anyone provide information on this.

Well I'll be darned! Was looking through today's ad for the blue big-box store, and lo and behold, is an ad for a new Hitachi cordless set (drill, saws, etc) that can be operated (and charged) from the charger (as well as battery only). It's a new one on me!
P.S., it's pro-grade, and it's not cheap.
I think (esp. given the price) that a DIYer might be better off having one of each; a cordless and a 120v corded.
