I have a new Craftsman 1.5 HP, 2 gal. air compressor. What type of general use spray gun is compatible? The one I bought from ********** requires a compressor that is at least 5 HP (note on the box). Searching the Internet at *****,**********, or ***** doesn't help.

Almost any detail gun .
Your compressor is 2.4 cfm @ 90 psi.
This badger model 400 is 3-5 cfm @ 30 psi and 'heavy' spray.

The worry is how much you plan to paint ... the compressor is not designed to run non-stop. Shoud be ok for small jobs.
