I am restoring a Craftsman table saw model #103.24242, manufactured by King-Seeley Corp.I need an owners' manual to guide me in how the motor is installed. Can anybody help?

I mounted mine based on a manual I found on line for the 103.24241 (which looks identical). The motor bracket should be 6 5/8" from the back of the saw and 6" from the right side of the saw as viewed from the back.

I was lucky and got the motor and bracket with the saw so installation was pretty easy (I just got it this week though, and I need to buy a belt tonight so I can't guarantee anything yet as I haven't actually run the saw yet. :-)

If you need more info about the bracket etc. I can take some measurements and even pics if you want.

Hope that helps!!

Dear LabRat,

Thanks for the response. My saw did not have a motor, or any mounting brackets. I did manage to find that manual that you mentioned but I can not see how a motor mounts to this saw with tilt feature. I can only see how the guard would have attached. Any information about the bracket(s), motor frame #, photos ect. would be great.

Thanks, MrFixit
