I recently saw a circular saw guide that was a track that the saw sat in, and did not need a clamp. It could also be used with a router. I would like to know where to get the guide and what the saw, and router name was?

I see this is a couple of months late, I have just seen the question.

The guide I think you are talking about is the Cheeter. However, there is a much better saw guide, called the OneDer Square. It has a arm that swings out of the way of the saw, there is a web site with pics and video: theonedersquare.com

It also has level bubbles to set roof pitch, or use as a regular level. The saw sits on the board, not in a track, so you get a true cut.

Hope this helps, sorry if too late.
