Does anyone know where or who makes an open end ratchet wrench. I know they make the box end but I need a open end 7/16 and 1/2 or 13mm.

Thanks for any help you could give me.

My BIL gave me these as a B-Day gift.......He noted "BOB VILA was selling these on TV....."

The wrench operates normally in one direction.......reverse the pressure and the jaws open slightly to "slip" and ratchet on the fastener's head..........automatically tightening on the fastener when you resume normal (forward) operation

i'm an auto tech by trade, and as such have many a 'strange' tool for particular jobs. maybe if we knew exactly what it was needed for, we could better help you find what could be used in this case [and also for future projects]. for example, if it's a bolt with limited access, a 1/4" drive shallow universal socket might fit the task, if it's a nut on a long threaded shaft a hollow socket with a hex drive on the end might do the trick.

They seem to be of fair quality. They are made by Alden. The standard set includes 3 wrenches with 6 different sizes (different size on eaach end of 3 wrenches). I don't knwo the sizes off the top of my head. They also have a metric set as well. I paid $29.95 for them.
