The Canadian part # for the nailer is 100412002. Can anyone advise if I can succesfully use longer than 5/8 brad nails. also just tried using the 5/8 brad nails and it only goes in 1/2 way with a fully charged battery...going into 1/2 mdf

I have found that mdf is difficult to nail with nailers. forget the electric as it is underpowered. when I tried using a 18 gauge nailer, it was necessary to use 100 pounds of preasure and it then only seated the 5/8 brads flush with the surface of the mdf. your best results will be to predrill and use hand driven brads.
