Hi all,
I have the opportunity to buy a used Craftsman Radial Arm Saw(model #315.220380). It is set up for 220V, but the guy has wired two power cords to it so that it can be plugged into two 110V, and apparently that works fine. My question is, do I need to be concerned about this settup, and why? Thanks

DO NOT PLUG THIS ARRANGEMENT INTO ANY OUTLET. What the previous owner did can technically provide power under certain circumstances but is VERY dangerous and is ILLEGAL. If plugged into the wrong outlets, or if a short occurs, you could injure yourself or burn up the motor. Have an electrician remove this jury-rig and install the proper 220v cord and plug. Install a properly sized 220 volt outlet.
